Meredith Bagley
-> Dr. Meredith M. Bagley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at The University of Alabama. Her current research focuses on modes of voice, both oral and embodied, within athlete activism. Her work has been featured in various collections of sport communication research focused on World Cup soccer, political struggle in sport, and social justice and sport. Raised in Mendon, Dr. Bagley is proud alumna of Rutland High School and a 2023 inductee into the Vermont Principals Association Hall of Fame. A lifelong athlete, Dr. Bagley most recently played and coached rugby. She lives in West Hartford, CT with her wife, two kids, and dog named Scout.
