VPA/VSADA NATIONAL CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

To provide an opportunity for newer Vermont State Athletic Director’s to attend the National Conference each year, the VSADA and the VPA have partnered to provide a scholarship to help pay for Conference expenses.

Who is eligible?

Any Vermont Athletic Director who:

Is a paid member of the VSADA

Is a paid member of the NIAAA

Has been a Vermont Athletic Director for at least one school year

Has never attended a National Conference

The scholarship will include:

Up to $800 for hotel room
Up to $300 for airfare
$245 for Conference registration
$85 toward one LTC course

**Any additional costs must be covered by the athletic director who receives and accepts the scholarship.           

Application Process:

Applicants must complete the application no later than October 1.

Applications will be reviewed by the VSADA Executive Committee and a VPA representative and the scholarship recipient will be notified by October 10th.  Recipient is responsible for registration and payment through the NIAAA.  Conference registration must be completed on-line by November 1, 2017.

Scholarship Reimbursement:

At the conclusion of the Conference, the scholarship recipient will provide the VSADA Treasurer, Sean Farrell with:

1. Proof of Conference attendance
2. Copy of airline registration showing amount paid
3. Proof of LTC course attendance (certificate)
4. Copy of hotel bill

** Expenses must be submitted to the Treasurer no later than February 1, 2018.
